PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Aiken is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver and supervise patient care on our nursing unit. You will coordinate interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, and patient/family teaching for post-hospitalization care.

Requirements include an active RN license in the state (or compact), BLS, and ACLS within 90 days; ACLS is required for Charge Nurses. One year of inpatient Med-Surg experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state where the hospital resides or a valid compact license.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide, direct, and supervise patient care on the nursing unit.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care planning, discharge planning, and patient/family teaching.
• Assist with Charge Nurse duties as needed and maintain ACLS readiness.

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).
Education and Training: Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification is required. Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment. Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.
Experience: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
