Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver and supervise patient care on the medical-surgical unit under nursing leadership. The role requires RN licensure in the state or a compact license, current BLS, and ACLS within 90 days (ACLS required for Charge Nurses).

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.
• The RN plans, coordinates, and provides patient care including interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources.
• May perform other related duties as assigned, including Charge Nurse responsibilities.

Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Experience: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Pay Range

USD $40.00 - USD $60.00 /Hr.
