Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington in Stoughton, MA is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our patient-centered team. Under the supervision of nursing leadership, you will deliver and coordinate skilled care for inpatients, participate in interdisciplinary planning, and support discharge planning.

Applicants must hold an active MA RN license, BLS, and ACLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state the hospital resides (MA).
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).

Qualifications

Education and Training: Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification is required. Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment. Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Experience: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Pay Range

USD $40.00 - USD $60.00 /Hr.
