Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is hiring an Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver, direct, and supervise care on the nursing unit in Stoughton, MA. Under the direction of nursing leadership, you will plan and coordinate patient care and discharge planning, and provide patient/family teaching for post-hospital needs.

Requirements include current RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS (ACLS within 90 days). Inpatient med-surg experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required, ACLS within 90 days of employment.
• RN license must be current in the employed state or compact licensure.
• One year of inpatient med-surg experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise patient care on the nursing unit.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.
• Teach patients and families for post-hospital care; may perform Charge Nurse duties.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).

Qualifications

Education and Training: Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification is required. Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment. Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Experience: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Pay Range

USD $40.00 - USD $60.00 /Hr.
