PAM Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our team on the nursing unit. Under the direction of Nursing leadership, the RN delivers, directs, and supervises patient care, coordinating interdisciplinary plans and discharge planning for post-hospitalization needs.

The role requires state RN licensure (or compact), current BLS, and ACLS certification within 90 days; ACLS needed for Charge Nurse duties. A strong commitment to patient education and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or a compact licensure if applicable.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment; ACLS must be AHA approved within 90 days.

Responsabilités

• Deliver, direct and supervise patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate discharge planning and patient/family teaching for post-hospitalization.
• Possible duties include serving as Charge Nurse; ACLS certification required for that role.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).

Qualifications

Education and Training: Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification is required. Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment. Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Experience: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
