Job summary

PAM Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver and supervise patient care on the nursing unit under the direction of nursing leadership. The role covers planning, coordination, and discharge planning with patient and family teaching for post-hospital care, with collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications include an active RN license (state or compact), BLS, and ACLS within 90 days of employment; ACLS required for Charge Nurses.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification is required.
• Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, directing and supervising care to patients on the nursing unit under the direction of senior nursing leadership.
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care including discharge planning and patient/family teaching.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and access community resources as needed.
• May perform Charge Nurse duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).

Qualifications

Education and Training: Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification is required. Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment. Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Experience: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
