Job summary

PAM Health in Tulsa, OK is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver and supervise patient care across units. You will coordinate discharge planning, provide patient and family teaching, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.

Current RN licensure in state or compact licensure is required, with BLS and ACLS certifications. ACLS is required for Charge Nurses. A strong foundation in inpatient medical-surgical nursing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment.
• BLS/ACLS must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• One year inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct, and supervise patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate discharge planning and patient/family teaching for post-hospital care.
• Collaborate with the care team; Charge Nurse role requires ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).

Qualifications

Education and Training: Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification is required. Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment. Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Experience: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
