Job summary

PAM Health is hiring an Registered Nurse (RN) to join our inpatient unit in a full-time capacity. The RN will plan, coordinate, and deliver comprehensive patient care, lead care teams under the direction of the Nursing leadership, and support discharge planning and family teaching.

Qualifications

• Holds a current RN licensure in the state where the hospital resides (or compact licensure).
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment; must be AHA approved.

Responsibilities

• Provide and supervise nursing care using the nursing process; coordinate interdisciplinary plans and discharge planning; patient and family teaching for post-hospital care. Charge Nurse duties may be required for ACLS-certified staff.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).

Qualifications

Education and Training: Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification is required. Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment. Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Experience: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
