PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Humble is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our full-time team. You will deliver, direct, and supervise patient care on the nursing unit, coordinate interdisciplinary planning, and assist with discharge planning and family teaching for post-hospital needs.

Requirements include current RN licensure in the practicing state (or compact licensure), BLS certification, and ACLS certification within 90 days. ACLS is required for Charge Nurses.

Qualifications

• Holds a current RN licensure in the state where the hospital resides or compact licensure.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver, direct and supervise patient care on the nursing unit.
• Plan, coordinate interdisciplinary care, discharge planning, and patient/family teaching for post-hospitalization.
• May perform Charge Nurse duties as assigned, ACLS certification required for this role.

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).

Education and Training:
