Texas Health Plano is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Float Pool to provide patient-centered care across multiple departments in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will float to PCU, Stepdown, and Telemetry units, delivering high-quality nursing care while maintaining confidentiality and teamwork.

Requirements include RN license, 1 year acute care RN experience, BCLS and ACLS within specified timeframes, CPI training, and a commitment to safety and patient advocacy.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree in nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of RN experience in an acute care setting required.
• RN – Registered Nurse upon hire required.
• BCLS before providing independent patient care and quarterly thereafter; ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days required.
• Experience in PCU, Stepdown, and Telemetry as an RN strongly preferred.

Here’s What You Need

• Nursing Diploma in Nursing required or
• Associate’s degree in nursing required or
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting required
• Experience in PCU, Stepdown, and Telemetry as a RN strongly preferred
• RN – Registered Nurse upon hire required
• BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly upon hire required and
