Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Round Rock is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week internal assignment. You will deliver and supervise patient care, participate in discharge planning, and coordinate interdisciplinary care under the direction of the Nursing leadership.

ACLS is required for Charge Nurse roles, with BLS certification also needed. Experience in inpatient medical-surgical settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Holds a current licensure as an RN in the state where the hospital resides.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification must be current for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise care to patients admitted to the unit.
• Plan, coordinate and provide patient care including discharge planning and family teaching.
• Assist with post-hospitalization planning and accessing community resources.
• May perform Charge Nurse duties as assigned.
