Job summary

PAM Health in Round Rock, TX is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver, direct, and supervise patient care on the nursing unit. You will plan, coordinate, and provide care, including interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, and patient/family teaching for post-hospitalization, while facilitating access to community resources.

Under supervision, you may assume Charge Nurse duties; ACLS certification is required for that role and a current BLS credential is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must hold RN licensure in the state of the hospital or a compact license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise patient care using the nursing process.
• Plan, coordinate and provide patient care including discharge planning and teaching.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary planning and access community resources.
• May perform Charge Nurse duties as assigned; ACLS may be required for that role.
