Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Clear Lake South is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver, direct and supervise care on the medical-surgical unit. You will participate in interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, and patient/family teaching for post-hospital care, while coordinating community resource access.

ACLS is required for Charge Nurses and must be obtained within 90 days of employment; BLS is required at hire.

Qualifications

• Holds a current RN license in Texas or a compact state.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment; ACLS required for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise care to patients on the medical-surgical unit.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.
• Teach patients and families for post-hospital care and access to community resources.
• May perform Charge Nurse duties if ACLS-certified.
