Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Clear Lake is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver, direct, and supervise care on the nursing unit under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse.

The role includes planning and coordinating patient care, discharge planning, and patient/family teaching for post-hospitalization, with ACLS certification required within 90 days for Charge Nurse duties and BLS required for all RNs.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state where the hospital resides or a compact license.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment and must be AHA approved.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise patient care on the nursing unit.
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care including interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization and access to community resources.
• May perform Charge Nurse duties as assigned.

Education

Registered Nurse licensure (RN) in state or compact license

BLS certification

ACLS certification within 90 days
