Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair, NJ, is seeking an Evening shift, full-time Emergency Department Registered Nurse in the ICU. Ideal candidates have 1+ year PACU/ICU RN experience and NJ RN licensure, with ACLS/PALS and BLS within specified timelines.

Responsibilities include delivering patient care using the nursing process in a high-acuity ICU/ER setting, collaborating with care teams, and adhering to hospital policies and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing is required.
• Minimum of 1+ years’ experience as an RN in a hospital PACU or Critical Care Unit.
• Current NJ State RN license.
• ACLS (obtainable within the first three months of employment).
• PALS (obtainable within the first three months of employment).
• Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia Training.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
