Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a full-time nurse in Celebration, Florida. The role includes 40 hours per week, day shift, with opportunities for salary growth through the Clinical Ladder program.

Eligible candidates may receive a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 and relocation assistance up to $3,000, subject to terms. Benefits start from day one, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus a retirement plan and paid leave.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, monitor progress, and adjust as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments following orders and safety protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and ensure clear communication.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care activities and outcomes in the medical record.

Job Description:

Clinical Ladder participation is voluntary. Salary adjustments are determined by program eligibility, advancement level, and organizational guidelines.

Up to $10,000 Sign-on Bonus and $3,000 Relocation Assistance available to eligible candidates (see terms below)

Terms: 12-month Full-time Employment Contract Required for Sign-On and Relocation

Sign-on Eligibility:

• One (1) year of applicable experience
• Internal Candidates and Rehires within 12 months are not eligible

Relocation Eligibility:

• Must live 50 miles outside of campus address
• Rehires that are less than 12 months from separation date are not eligible

Days, 4/10's with on-call requirements for overnight and weekends

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
