AdventHealth in Celebration, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time Day shift. Eligible clinicians may receive up to 20% salary increases through the Clinical Ladder Program based on experience and advancement criteria.

A sign-on bonus up to $10,000 and relocation assistance up to $3,000 are available to eligible candidates. This position requires 12-month employment, 40 hours per week, days with on-call requirements for overnight and weekends.

Qualifications

• RN with current license and BLS certification.
• Associate degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1+ year in acute care setting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise them as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, meds and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate and optimize patient care and ensure clear communication.
• Document patient information, care activities and outcomes in the medical record.

Job Description:

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
• Ability to work as a Team player within a unit
• Effective verbal and oral communication and problem-solving skills
• EKG (based on patient ; see document EKG and Advanced Life Support Requirements)
• Must be fluent in English (read, verbal and written skills)
• Basic computer skills – must be able to navigate Microsoft windows based programs
• Must be able to use a high level of abstract reasoning to assess patient, evaluate interventions, and revise plan of care according to patient outcomes

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]

Work Experience:

• 1+ acute care hospital setting [Preferred]
