Job Summary
The RN Clinical Nurse Emergency Department is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed care providers who ensure that patients, families, and significant others receive individualized, high-quality, safe patient care. They practice in a clinical environment administered by Nurse Managers and other leaders, supported through the Wellstar Shared Governance Model. The practice framework is guided by the Wellstar Professional Practice Model, evidence-based practice, and research. RN competencies are derived from these models and supported by the Wellstar Values.
Facility: Spalding Medical Center
It is expected that all RN Clinical Nurses in Emergency Services are licensed, knowledgeable, and uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act, implementing the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards set forth by the American Nurses Association. As members of the patient services team, they uphold the voice of the patient, adhere to system policies and procedures, and support service excellence goals.

Performs other duties as assigned and complies with all organizational policies, standards, and codes of conduct.
Minimum Education: Accredited Nursing Program or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred).
Licenses and Certifications: All certifications required upon hire unless otherwise specified, including RN license (single state or multi-state), BLS, ACLS, and PALS (preferred or provisional).
Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience preferred.
Skills: Excellent communication, teamwork, critical thinking, time management, and proficiency with clinical technology.
