RN Manager, Emergency Department
Oversee daily operations of the ED, manage staff including hiring, training, evaluating, and scheduling. Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and regulations. Provide individualized patient care based on nursing processes, addressing physical and psychosocial needs. Develop and monitor budgets, manage supplies, and control department costs. Participate in strategic planning, quality improvement, and survey readiness efforts. Lead staff development, conflict resolution, and team building initiatives. Handle ethical issues and maintain confidentiality. Conduct staff meetings and support special projects as delegated.
Bachelor's or nursing degree; 3-5 years clinical experience in Med/Surg and Telemetry; 2 years management experience. Current RN license in Arizona; CPR and ACLS certifications. Strong decision-making, accuracy, computer skills, and ability to work under deadlines. Excellent communication with staff, physicians, and community members. Personal motivation and leadership abilities required.
