Job summary

The VIOS Clinic is seeking an experienced Emergency Nurse to provide comprehensive care in a fast-paced trauma-level ED. You will deliver direct patient care, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and model excellence in safety and quality at the point of care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license.
• At least 6 months of RN experience.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and trauma nursing courses.

Job description

Role Overview

Responsible for providing comprehensive emergency nursing care in a fast-paced, trauma-level environment.

• Delivering direct patient care using the nursing process, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, prioritizing patient wellness, modeling proficiency through precepting, and contributing to safety and quality at the point of care.
• Supporting emergency department operations up to level 1 trauma care, participating in evidence-based practices, and engaging in ongoing specialty education and competency validation with clinical educators.

Qualifications & Skills

Graduate of an accredited nursing program, current RN licensure, at least 6 months of RN experience, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and trauma nursing courses. Additional certifications like TNCC/ATCN, ENPC, and advanced crisis intervention are preferred.
