Job summary

Health Care Administrators Association® (HCAA) is seeking an onsite Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department. This full-time evening shift role focuses on expert patient care, trauma-level support, and contributions to a safe, high-quality care environment.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams, precept new staff, and ensure competency validation with clinical education support. A strong nursing foundation and trauma certifications are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN licensure.
• At least 6 months of RN experience.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS; trauma-focused training.
• TNCC, ENPC, Advanced Trauma Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ED using the nursing process.
• Support multidisciplinary teams and promote patient wellness.
• Precept new staff and validate competencies.
• Deliver care up to Level 1 trauma with emphasis on safety and quality.

Job description

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department (ED) for onsite, full-time evening shifts.

Responsibilities include: Providing expert patient care utilizing the nursing process, supporting multidisciplinary teams, prioritizing patient wellness, and modeling proficiency through precepting new staff. The RN will deliver care up to level 1 trauma, ensuring safety and quality at the point of care, with clinical education support for competency validation.

Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, RN licensure, at least 6 months of RN experience, and certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and trauma-specific courses. Additional certifications like TNCC, ENPC, and Advanced Trauma Care are preferred.
