Job summary

UP Health System - Marquette, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) in Electrophysiology to join the Cath Lab team. You will assist with cardiovascular procedures, monitor patients, document care, and collaborate with physicians and families.

Requirements include Michigan RN license and an associate degree in nursing (bachelor's preferred). BLS-HCP and ACLS within 3 months. Full-time days with a $7,500 sign-on bonus for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Michigan RN license.
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school; bachelor's degree preferred.
• BLS-HCP and ACLS within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
• Documents patient care given.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

More About Our Team

Join our Cath Lab team and provide specialized care for patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures, with the primary focus on Electrophysiology. In this role, you'll assist with procedures, patient monitoring, charting, and procedural sedation. Enjoy a Monday-Friday schedule.

What We're Looking For

Applicants should have a current Michigan RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor's preferred).

Additional Requirements Include

• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (within 3 months)
