Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Edina, MN, is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Critical Care Float Pool at M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital.

You will float to ICU and ED, with occasional assignments to Neuro, Cardiac Telemetry, Surgical and IMC units. The 12‑hour night shifts are 0.75 FTE and include a $2/hour float premium, fostering broad clinical growth and teamwork.

Qualifications

About the Critical Care Float Pool at Southdale Hospital

• As a RN on our team, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in multiple units!
• You will float to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and the Emergency Department (ED).
• In a less frequent capacity - may float to Neuro, Cardiac Telemetry, Surgical, and IMC units.
• There may be additional opportunity to cross train more areas if needs dictate, such as Post-Partum, EmPath, Endoscopy, etc.

Schedule

This position will be working 0.75 FTE (60 hours every two weeks). The shift length will be 12 hours on the night shift (7pm–7:30am). This position will also work a rotation for every 3rd weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). The RN role offers an additional $2.00/hour for being in the Float Pool.

Required Qualifications
