Job summary

Lifepoint Health® in Hancock Township, MI, is seeking a dedicated OB RN Coordinator for full-time evening shifts. This significant role focuses on improving community health through exceptional nurse-led care.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have a current Michigan RN license and an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree and leadership experience.
• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides and coordinates care for the OB patient using the nursing process.
• Identifies and resolves issues affecting delivery of clinical services.
• Performs performance improvement studies and implements PI initiatives.
• Serves as a resource to staff on patient care issues.

Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Two years of acute care experience

OB experience

Leadership experience

How You\'ll Contribute

• Provides and coordinates care of the OB patient using nursing process.
• Identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of clinical services.
• Performs performance improvement studies and assists with implementation of PI initiatives.
• Serves as a resource to staff and external contacts on issues related to patient care, patient flow and clinical standards, policies and procedures.
• Monitors departmental compliance with applicable requirements, including accreditation, legal, and The Joint Commission.
• Coordinates staff scheduling, educational/development activities, and performance evaluations.
• Provides and coordinates patient educational needs, specifically to Labor and Delivery.
• Performs other job duties as assigned

What We\'re Looking For

Applicants should have a current Michigan RN license and possess an associate\'s degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor\'s preferred).

Additional Requirements Include

• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Two years of acute care experience
• OB experience
• Leadership experience (preferred)
• EFM, STABLE (within 6 months)
• PEOP (completed within 1 year)
• Annual influenza vaccination or declination required
