Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required within six months of hire.
• 1–2 years of previous nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies needs.
• Initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of patient.
• Documents medical necessity in the medical record.
• Completes and revises the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for patients.
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.

Join Lifepoint Health® as a Charge Nurse in our Neuro Sciences unit.

Fulltime: Night Shift

$20,000 Sign‑On Bonus (eligible)

Schedule
3 12‑hour shifts per week
Shift times: 6:45 a.m.–7:00 p.m. or 6:45 p.m.–7:00 a.m.

• Neuro/Ortho experience preferred
• 20‑bed unit
• Patient population: spine/neck/head surgery, stroke, seizure

How You Will Contribute

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
