Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a registered nurse to support ICU/CCU/ER and Cath Lab/EP Lab services. Under the Site Manager, you will perform a wide range of clinical procedures using specialized equipment for diagnosis and treatment, while upholding patient safety and quality care.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program, holds an RN license (multi-state compact preferred), and has current BLS; ACLS certification is required or instructor-certified.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited/approved School of Nursing.
• RN license in at least one state; multi-state compact preferred.
• BLS required; Instructor preferred.
• ACLS required; Instructor or Provisional acceptable.
• 1 year ICU/CCU/ER or cath lab/EP lab experience preferred.

Job Summary

Functions under the direction of the Site Manager. He/she is responsible for performing a wide variety of clinical procedures requiring independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative in the utilization of the equipment for the diagnosis and/or treatment

Required Minimum Education

Graduate of an accredited/approved School of Nursing Required

• Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact


• Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor


• Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ACLS - Instructor or ACLS - Provisional

Required Minimum Experience

1 year ICU/CCU/ER or previous Cath Lab/EP Lab experience Preferred
