Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking an experienced RN for day shift in a fast-paced ICU/CCU environment. You will perform a wide range of procedures requiring independent judgement, quality patient care, and strong communication with physicians and staff.

Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, RN licensure (state or multi-state), and BLS/ACLS. On-call duties apply; 4/10 shifts, with weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• RN license (single state or multi-state).
• 1 year ICU/CCU/ER or Cath Lab/EP Lab experience preferred.
• BLS certification; ACLS certification or instructor status.
• Excellent English communication, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of clinical procedures with independent judgment and initiative using diagnostic and therapeutic equipment.
• Maintains trust and engagement with staff and physicians to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Upholds WellStar policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.
• Assists in coordinating care and collaborates with discipline teams to improve outcomes.

Job Summary:

Functions under the direction of the Site Manager. He/she is responsible for performing a wide variety of clinical procedures requiring independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative in the utilization of the equipment for the diagnosis and/or treatment

Required Minimum Education:

Graduate of an accredited/approved School of Nursing Required

Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):

• Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact
• Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ACLS - Instructor or ACLS - Provisional

Required Minimum Experience:

1 year ICU/CCU/ER or previous Cath Lab/EP Lab experience Preferred
