Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking a registered nurse to perform a range of clinical procedures with independent judgement using hospital equipment for diagnosis and treatment. The role requires timely call coverage and holiday call duties, with bonus eligibility for qualified candidates.

Under the direction of the Site Manager, you will contribute to delivering high-quality patient care, uphold WellStar values, and collaborate with physicians to ensure safe, cost-effective care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• RN licensure in Georgia (multi-state compact acceptable).
• ACLS and BLS certifications required or Instructor status.

Responsibilities

• Maintains relationships with physicians to support cost‑effective, quality patient care.
• Complies with WellStar policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.

Job Summary

Functions under the direction of the Site Manager. He/she is responsible for performing a wide variety of clinical procedures requiring independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative in the utilization of the equipment for the diagnosis and/or treatment

Required Minimum Education

Graduate of an accredited/approved School of Nursing Required

Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s)

All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.

• Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact


• Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor


• Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ACLS - Instructor or ACLS - Provisional

Required Minimum Experience

1 year ICU/CCU/ER or previous Cath Lab/EP Lab experience Preferred
