Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cath Lab in a full-time day shift. The role includes 12-hour shifts with call responsibilities and a rotating weekend schedule.

You will assess patients, initiate interventions, and document care in the medical record while collaborating on interdisciplinary care plans. Preferred candidates hold a North Carolina RN license (or compact) and BLS, ACLS, and PALS within set timelines.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina RN license required or compact license accepted.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely and accurate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Perform timely and accurate QI assessments.

What We Are Looking For

Applicants should have a current state RN license.

Active North Carolina RN license (single-state) or compact required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins

Additional Requirements Include

Bachelors degree preferred but not required

Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.

ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.

One Year Of Experience Preferred

1-3 years preferred with recent critical care or Cath Lab experience
