Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for their Cath Lab. This full-time role involves performing patient assessments and providing nursing interventions in a 12-hour shift schedule.

Job description

Registered Nurse (RN), Cath Lab Fulltime

Full-time, days schedule: 12‑hour shifts. Call required. Every 5th weekend required (revolving 5‑week track schedule). Your experience matters.

How you will contribute

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments

What We Are Looking For

• Current state RN license
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
• ACLS and PALS certification within six months of hire
• One year of experience preferred; 1–3 years preferred with recent critical care or Cath Lab experience
