Job summary

Resolute Baptist Hospital in Texas is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab, Holding and Recovery areas. You will deliver direct and indirect patient care, supervise team members, and ensure adherence to safety standards across adolescent to geriatric patients.

Eligible candidates hold an RN license with minimum 1 year in critical care, ED or OR, and must have BLS, with ACLS preferred within 6 months of hire. A comprehensive benefits package is included.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and licensed as RN.
• 1 year of experience in critical care, ED or OR is required or preferred.
• ACLS and BLS certifications obtained or to be completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care in the Cath Lab, Holding and Recovery.
• Supervise subordinates to ensure patient safety and standards.
• Adhere to established competencies and perform other duties as assigned.

This Registered Nurse is responsible for assigned nursing roles in the Cath Lab including Holding and Recovery; gives direct and indirect care as indicated by patient condition; works with patients from adolescents to geriatrics. Supervises subordinates to ensure patient safety standards are attained. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

PREFERRED EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college or university

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1 year in critical care, ED or OR

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Cardiac Cath Lab or Special Procedures experience

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: NA

REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): BLS –Obtained through approved American Heart Association Training Center or the Military Training Network. ACLS within 6 months upon hire or transfer into position.
