Resolute Baptist Hospital in Texas is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join the Cath Lab team. You will perform holding and recovery duties, provide direct and indirect patient care, and help maintain safety and efficiency during procedures.

The role requires a Texas state RN license, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and 1 year of experience in critical care, ED, or OR. Preferred candidates have Cath Lab or Special Procedures exposure and a BSN.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred).
• Texas RN license in good standing; BLS required; ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Job Summary

This position may qualify for a sign on bonus. This Registered Nurse is responsible for assigned nursing roles in the Cath Lab including Holding and Recovery; gives direct and indirect care as indicated by patient condition; works with patients from adolescents to geriatrics. Supervises subordinates to ensure patient safety standards are attained. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

PREFERRED EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college or university

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1 year in critical care, ED or OR

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Cardiac Cath Lab or Special Procedures experience

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: NA

REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): BLS –Obtained through approved American Heart Association Training Center or the Military Training Network. ACLS within 6 months upon hire or transfer into position.
