Methodist Hospital Northeast is seeking a Cath Lab Registered Nurse to continue providing high-quality, efficient care for all patients in a collaborative team environment.

You will be part of a program with a comprehensive orientation, mentorship from specialty educators and access to leadership development, supported by state-of-the-art units.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
• Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (RN Compact License holders are required to obtain Texas RN License within 60 days of hire date)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe nursing care using the nursing process, critical thinking, scientific judgment, technical skills and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care to patients.
• Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes
• Provide communication, confidence, and professionalism as evidenced by active engagement in unit and organizational activities
• Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serving as a resource to the patient care team
• Be accountable for delivering quality nursing care and for promoting a positive image of nursing
