Job summary

Resolute Baptist Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab, including Holding and Recovery areas. You will provide direct and indirect patient care across adolescent to geriatric populations, ensuring safety and quality standards while coordinating with the healthcare team.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of critical care, ED, or OR experience and a Texas RN license; BLS and ACLS certifications are required or obtainable within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1 year experience in critical care, ED or OR.
• Cardiac Cath Lab or Special Procedures experience preferred.
• Texas RN license required.
• BLS & ACLS training within 6 months of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in Cath Lab holding and recovery areas.
• Supervise subordinates to maintain patient safety standards.
• Follow established competencies and complete required training within the introductory period.
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervision.

Job Summary

This Registered Nurse is responsible for assigned nursing roles in the Cath Lab including Holding and Recovery; gives direct and indirect care as indicated by patient condition; works with patients from adolescents to geriatrics. Supervises subordinates to ensure patient safety standards are attained. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing


• PREFERRED EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college or university


• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1 year in critical care, ED or OR


• PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Cardiac Cath Lab or Special Procedures experience


• REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse


• PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: NA


• REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): BLS –Obtained through approved American Heart Association Training Center or the Military Training Network. ACLS within 6 months upon hire or transfer into position.
