Ardent Health Services in Tulsa, OK seeks a day shift, full-time Cardiovascular Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN). You will provide care using the nursing process for assigned patients and collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Oklahoma RN license, and BLS/ACLS within required timeframes. Preference for Step-Down or Med/Surg experience and a commitment to ongoing skill development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current Registered Nurse license in Oklahoma.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• ACLs must be obtained within 90 days of hire or upon signing a revised job description.
• One or more years of experience in a Step-Down Unit.
• Med/Surg experience with an aptitude for developing new skills.

Responsabilités

• The Registered Nurse is responsible for using the nursing process to provide care to assigned patients.
• Identify and prioritise needs, formulate the plan of care, and manage/delegate interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.

The Registered Nurse in is primarily responsible for using the nursing process of assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide care to assigned patients. Responsible and accountable for identifying and prioritizing needs, formulating the plan of care, prioritizing/managing/delegating interventions and collaborating with the physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary team.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• Current Registered Nurse license in Oklahoma
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 90 days of hire or upon signing a revised job description

Preferred Job Requirements:

• One or more years of experience in a Step-Down Unit
• Med/Surg experience with an aptitude for developing new skills will be considered
