Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa, OK is seeking a day shift, full-time Cardiovascular Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient care using the nursing process across a 180-bed facility. You will assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care while collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing school, an Oklahoma RN license, and BLS ready within 14 days of hire plus ACLS within 90 days.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current Registered Nurse license in Oklahoma.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• ACLS within 90 days of hire or upon signing a revised job description.

Responsabilidades

• Provide care to assigned patients using the nursing process (assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
• Identify and prioritize needs, formulate the plan of care, prioritize/managing/delegating interventions and collaborating with physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary team.

The Registered Nurse in is primarily responsible for using the nursing process of assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide care to assigned patients. Responsible and accountable for identifying and prioritizing needs, formulating the plan of care, prioritizing/managing/delegating interventions and collaborating with the physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary team.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• Current Registered Nurse license in Oklahoma
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 90 days of hire or upon signing a revised job description

Preferred Job Requirements:

• One or more years of experience in a Step-Down Unit
• Med/Surg experience with an aptitude for developing new skills will be considered
