Job summary

Main Line Health's Lankenau Medical Center seeks a Night Shift, Cardiothoracic Stepdown Nurse to join the 16-bed unit. You will care for Cardiothoracic Stepdown patients as part of an interdisciplinary team, delivering patient-centered care.

Eligible for tuition reimbursement up to $6,000 annually based on full/part-time status; up to 240 hours of paid time off per year; employee discounts and free parking; join our Clinical Ladder and nursing committees.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown nursing experience required.
• RN Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• PA RN license or multi-state license via compact required.

Responsibilities

• Care for Cardiothoracic Stepdown patients as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Provide patient-centered care on a 16-bed cardiothoracic stepdown unit.
• Participate in committees, precept new staff, and pursue clinical ladder.

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - CT-Stepdown

Shift: 36 hrs per week, Night Shift (7pm-7:30am) OR Day/Night Rotation (up to the candidate whether they do straight Nights or D/N Rotation); Weekend rotation required.

Experience: One year of recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown Nurse experience required.

Education:

• 1. RN Diploma, ASN required.
• 2. BSN preferred.

Licensures/Certifications:

• 1. PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
• 2. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) preferred.
