Job summary

The Staff Pad is partnering with a regional healthcare system in Wisconsin to recruit Registered Nurses for a high-acuity Cardiac Telemetry Step-Down Unit. You will care for complex cardiac and vascular patients, strengthening telemetry, critical thinking, and clinical judgment in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment.

Full-time, 0.9 FTE (72 hours per pay period) with 12-hour shifts and opportunities for growth, with competitive hourly compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred.
• Active Wisconsin and/or Michigan RN license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required within six months of hire.
• Strong commitment to teamwork, continuous learning, and exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care in a high-acuity cardiac telemetry environment.
• Continuously monitor patients and recognize changes in condition.
• Use strong clinical judgment and critical thinking to respond to changes in patient status.
• Care for patients recovering from cardiac, vascular, and pulmonary procedures.
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions according to evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate documentation and promote patient safety and quality outcomes.

You'll gain hands-on experience caring for patients with acute coronary syndrome, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrhythmias, heart failure, pulmonary embolism, pulmonary hypertension, vascular disease, and complex pulmonary conditions.

Schedule

Full-Time | 0.9 FTE (72 Hours per Pay Period)

• 12-hour shifts | Every 3rd weekend | Two holidays per year
• 3:00 AM - 3:00 PM | 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM | 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM | 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care in a high-acuity cardiac telemetry environment

Patients You'll Care For

What We're Looking For
