The Staff Pad partners with a regional healthcare system in Wausau, WI to recruit RNs for a high-acuity Cardiac Telemetry Step-Down Unit. This Full-Time position is 0.9 FTE (72 hours per pay period) with 12-hour shifts and weekend rotation, offering strong growth opportunities in a cardiovascular program.

You will care for patients with acute coronary syndrome, myocardial infarction, arrhythmias, heart failure, and post-procedure recovery, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary

Formación

• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Active Wisconsin and/or Michigan RN license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required within six months of hire.

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care in a high-acuity cardiac telemetry environment.
• Continuously monitor patients and recognize changes in condition.
• Use strong clinical judgment and critical thinking to respond to changes in patient status.
• Care for patients recovering from cardiac, vascular, and pulmonary procedures.
• Manage patients with complex cardiac and pulmonary conditions.
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions according to evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate documentation and promote patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

12-hour shifts | Every 3rd weekend | Two holidays per year

3:00 AM - 3:00 PM | 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM | 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM | 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
• Active Wisconsin and/or Michigan RN license
• Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
• ACLS certification required within six months of hire
• Strong commitment to teamwork, continuous learning, and exceptional patient care
