Texas Health Resources in Plano, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiac Cath Lab. This full-time day shift role offers 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri with some on-call.

You will work with a skilled team, cross-train opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package. The ideal candidate has an RN license, BCLS/ACLS/PALS, and cath lab experience, with a preference for BSN.

Qualifications

• Cath Lab experience strongly preferred.
• On-call required; must live within a 30-minute drive.
• RN license active upon hire.
• BCLS certification required and maintained.
• ACLS and PALS within specified timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Demonstrate understanding of basic human needs and patient-centered care.
• Practice active listening and maintain a non-judgmental attitude.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Hours: Full-time; 40 hrs./week. Monday – Friday (8-5) Some on-Call requirement

Here’s What You Will Need

• Diploma of Nursing OR Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• BSN preferred.
• Other: CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency Required
• One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program.
• Cath Lab experience strongly preferred
• On-call required. Must live within a 30-minute drive
• RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req AND
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support—Within 90 Days Required AND
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support—within 90 Days Required
