Job summary

Texas Health Resources in Plano, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the ICU to provide compassionate patient care in a high-acuity environment. The ICU is a 30-bed unit with intensivist oversight 24/7, self-scheduling, and dedicated support from NPs and PAs.

Requirements include a Nursing Diploma or Associate degree, BSN preferred, and ACLS/BCLS/CPI training. ICU experience strongly preferred; 1 year as a clinical nurse or RN residency completed.

WORK LOCATION: The address is 6200 W Parker Rd, Plano, TX 75093

WORK SCHEDULE: Full Time Nights (7P-7A) for 36 hrs./ week. Weekend and holiday requirements

Icu Department Highlights

• Self-scheduling unit with 30 beds.
• Our ICU Unit is devoted to intensive care for the region’s most critically ill patients.
• Our intensivist program puts the care of ICU patients under the guidance of board-certified critical care physicians, who directly oversee patient care in the ICU throughout the day. Physicians are available 24 hours.
• Critical care nurses, nurse practitioners and physician assistants — all trained in critical care medicine — help provide care in the ICU around the clock.

HERE's WHAT YOU NEED

• Diploma Nursing OR Associate degree in Nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• Other: CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency Req
• One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program.
• ICU experience strongly preferred
• RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support Upon—prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support –Within 90 days of hire Required
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training 60 Days Required
