Job summary

FutureCare in Baltimore is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality resident care through comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. You will review medical records to ensure practices align with state and federal guidelines and help coordinate referrals and treatments for residents.

We offer a competitive hourly wage with shift differentials, a $3,000 sign-on bonus, and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license issued in Maryland.
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
• Current CPR license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering resident care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Review resident medical records to ensure nursing practice complies with state and federal guidelines.
• Review referrals for consultation or treatment and validate against documented nurse plans.
• Monitor resident responses to care and ensure plans are met.
• Implement physician orders and nursing interventions as needed.
• Pursue professional growth and expand responsibilities to maintain competency.
• Set and implement goals and policies in line with FutureCare’s philosophy.

The salary mentioned above reflects the potential base pay range for this role. Bonuses or other incentives (if applicable) are offered separately and paid pursuant to the relevant program schedule. All employment offers will consider such factors as overall experience, job-related qualifications, location, certifications/training, etc.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting in the delivery of resident care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Review resident medical records to ensure nursing practice provided is within State and Federal guidelines
• Review all referrals for consultation, treatment or resolution of problems are valid and applicable to the documented nurse plans
• Evaluate and monitor resident responses to daily implementation of nursing care to ensure the provision of resident care plans are met
• Implement physician’s orders, nursing interventions and procedures as needed for the care of the resident
• Seeks opportunities for professional growth and expansion of responsibilities to maintain competency levels
• Set and implement goals and policies consistent with the philosophy and purpose of FutureCare’s nursing facility

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Registered Nurse license issued in the state of Maryland
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred
• Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or long-term health care facility a plus
• Must possess a current CPR license
