Job summary

FutureCare in Maryland is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care, ensuring adherence to state and federal guidelines and physician orders.

The successful candidate must hold an active Maryland RN license, CPR certification, and at least one year of nursing experience in acute or long-term care. We offer competitive pay from $36 to $44 per hour, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career growth.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivery of resident care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Review resident medical records to ensure nursing practice complies with state and federal guidelines.
• Review referrals for consultation and ensure nurse plans are documented and appropriate.
• Monitor resident responses to care plans and ensure goals are met.
• Implement physician orders and nursing interventions as needed.
• Pursue professional growth and expand responsibilities to maintain competency.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting in the delivery of resident care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Review resident medical records to ensure nursing practice provided is within State and Federal guidelines
• Review all referrals for consultation, treatment or resolution of problems are valid and applicable to the documented nurse plans
• Evaluate and monitor resident responses to daily implementation of nursing care to ensure the provision of resident care plans are met
• Implement physician’s orders, nursing interventions and procedures as needed for the care of the resident
• Seeks opportunities for professional growth and expansion of responsibilities to maintain competency levels
• Set and implement goals and policies consistent with the philosophy and purpose of FutureCare’s nursing facility

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Registered Nurse license issued in the state of Maryland
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred
• Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or long-term health care facility a plus
• Must possess a current CPR license
