Job summary

FutureCare is seeking a registered nurse to provide resident care across assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, aligned with state and federal guidelines.

You will review medical records, participate in referrals, implement physician orders, and pursue professional growth within a caring team that values compassion and quality care for tomorrow's health. Competitive salary and benefits are offered, with opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Registered Nurse license issued in the state of Maryland.
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
• Must possess a current CPR license.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting in the delivery of resident care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Review resident medical records to ensure nursing practice provided is within State and Federal guidelines.
• Review all referrals for consultation, treatment or resolution of problems are valid and applicable to the documented nurse plans.
• Evaluate and monitor resident responses to daily implementation of nursing care to ensure the provision of resident care plans are met.
• Implement physician’s orders, nursing interventions and procedures as needed for the care of the resident.
• Seeks opportunities for professional growth and expansion of responsibilities to maintain competency levels.
• Set and implement goals and policies consistent with the philosophy and purpose of FutureCare’s nursing facility
