Job summary

Great River Health in Iowa is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for night shift (7:00pm-7:30am) with every-other-weekend coverage. The role requires an ADN or in-school, Iowa RN licensure, and involves delivering high-quality patient care across gero/med-surg/telemetry and psychiatric units.

You will float to other departments as needed and collaborate with the health care team to plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or current enrollment in last semester.
• Maintains valid licensure/certification/registration.
• Registered Nurse license in the State of Iowa (or in last semester).

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care to geriatric, medical/surgical, adult, telemetry and psychiatric patients using the nursing process.
• Collaborates with the health care team to coordinate patient care.
• May float to other departments to meet patient care needs.

$10,000 sign on bonus eligibility for qualified candidates

Job Description:

Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members. Effectively interacts with the patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. Provides high quality care to the following patient populations: Geriatric, Medical/Surgical, Adult, Telemetry and Psychiatric Issues.

Required to float to other departments to meet needs.

Qualifications:

Required:

Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) minimum or currently in last semester.

Maintains valid licensure/certification/registration.

Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Iowaor currently in last semester of school.
