Great River Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a night shift role (7:00pm–7:30am) with every-other-weekend coverage. This position involves delivering care using the nursing process and collaborating with the health team to meet patient needs across geriatrics, medical/surgical, adult, telemetry, and psychiatric units.

Requirements include an ADN or current enrollment in the last semester and an Iowa RN license (or active student status).

Qualifications

• ADN minimum required.
• Current valid licensure/certification/registration.
• Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Iowa or in last semester of school.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, evaluation).
• Coordinate with health team members and communicate with patients and families.
• Provide high-quality care to geriatric, medical/surgical, adult, telemetry and psychiatric patients.
• Float to other departments as needed.

$10,000 sign on bonus eligibility for qualified candidates

Job Description:

Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members. Effectively interacts with the patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. Provides high quality care to the following patient populations: Geriatric, Medical/Surgical, Adult, Telemetry and Psychiatric Issues.

Required to float to other departments to meet needs.

Qualifications:

Required:

Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) minimum or currently in last semester.

Maintains valid licensure/certification/registration.

Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Iowaor currently in last semester of school.
