Job summary

Santa Rosa Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Milton, FL is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team. Walk-In Interviews are held Monday – Friday from 10 AM to 3 PM; no appointment is necessary.

Shifts available include 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM. A valid RN license is required, with at least one year of medical/surgical experience preferred. Join us to deliver high-quality nursing care in a long-term/rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a basic education program in professional nursing.
• Minimum of one year medical/surgical nursing experience in an acute care or long-term care setting.
• Must possess a current RN license in state(s) of practice and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Works under Nurse Practice Act, facility policies and procedures, and nursing judgment.
• Assesses, plans and evaluates nursing care for long-term and/or rehabilitation patients.
• Delivers nursing care for long-term and/or rehabilitative patients.
• Implements the plan of care and evaluates patient response.
• Directs and supervises care provided by nursing staff.
• Provides input in standards of care development and evaluation.
• Maintains required documentation knowledge.
• Maintains knowledge of equipment setup and use (monitors, infusion devices, etc.).
• Maintains client confidentiality and compliance with rights.
• Delivers patient/family/caregiver education as appropriate.
• Maintains professional conduct and works rotating shifts, holidays and weekends.

Registered Nurse (RN ) Job Summary:

Registered Nurse ( RN ) Major Duties and Critical Tasks:

• Works using the guidelines established by the Nurse Practice Act, facility Policies and Procedures, and sound nursing judgment.
• Assesses, plans and evaluates nursing care delivered to patients/residents requiring long-term and/or rehabilitation care.
• Delivers nursing care to patients/residents requiring long-term and/or rehabilitative care .
• Implements the patient/resident plan of care and evaluates the patient/resident response.
• Directs and supervises care provided by other nursing personnel.
• Provides input in the formulation and evaluation of standards of care.
• Maintains knowledge of necessary documentation requirements .
• Maintains knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance and use (i.e. monitors, infusion devices, drain devices, etc.).
• Maintains confidentiality and compliance with patient/resident rights, relating to all patient/resident/personnel information.
• Provides patient/resident/family/caregiver education as appropriate and/or directed.
• Conducts self in a professional manner in compliance with unit and facility policies .
• Works rotating shifts, holidays and weekends as scheduled.

Registered Nurse ( RN ) Required Education and Experience:

• Must be a graduate of a basic education program in professional nursing.
• A minimum of one year medical/surgical nursing experience in an acute care (hospital) setting or long-term care setting (acute/critical care is preferred).
• Must possess a current Registered Nurse ( RN ) license in state(s) of practice. Must have a reliable source of transportation.

The Registered Nurse ( RN ) is responsible to plan and deliver nursing care to patients/residents requiring long-term and/or rehabilitative care.
