Job summary

Leisure Village Health Care Community in Oklahoma is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The RN will provide high-quality nursing care, develop individualized care plans, and collaborate with residents and their families.

We offer a $2,500 sign-on bonus for full-time candidates, competitive pay, shift differential, PTO, holidays, tuition reimbursement, 401(k), medical/dental/vision, and ongoing staff appreciation events.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited RN School of Nursing.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• Valid RN license.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their families, and at all levels.
• Ability to react decisively in emergencies.
• Maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assists in all aspects of nursing.
• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans.
• Assesses and documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs.
• Administers medications.
• Starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents.
• Documents that treatment as required.
• Ensures supplies and equipment are utilized economically and safely.
• Other duties as assigned.

• 6:00 AM - 2:00 MP Monday - Friday

Essential Functions of Registered Nurse (RN):

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspects of nursing
• The candidate will provide services that exceed company and regulatory standards
• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans
• Assesses and documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders
• Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident’s needs and the person’s capabilities and qualifications
• Administers medications
• Starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents
• Documents that treatment as required
• Ensures that supplies are utilized economically, and that equipment is clean and maintained a safe manner
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications of Registered Nurse (RN):

• Graduate of accredited RN School of Nursing

• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations

• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff
