Job summary

Leisure Village Health Care Community in Oklahoma is seeking a compassionate LPN to join our team for a daytime schedule. You will provide high-quality nursing care, assess residents, and implement physician orders with a focus on safety and individualized care plans.

We offer a sign-on bonus, Baylor pay, shift differential where available, PTO after 30 days, holidays with premium pay, education reimbursement up to 5,000 annually, and a 401(k) with company matching after one year.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited LPN School of Nursing.
• One year of nursing experience is preferred.
• Valid LPN license for the state of Oklahoma is required.
• Valid CPR certification is required.
• Must provide a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and coworkers.
• Ability to react decisively in emergency situations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide services that meet or exceed company and regulatory standards.
• Initiate and lead individualized nursing care plans.
• Assess and document residents' conditions and nursing needs.
• Accurately implement physicians’ orders promptly.
• Assign nursing care to team members according to needs and capabilities.
• Administer medications and start IVs; perform treatments as assigned.
• Document treatments and ensure supplies and equipment are maintained safely.

• 6:00 am - 2:00 pm Monday - Friday

• $2,000 Sign-On Bonus for full-time qualifying candidates
• Baylor Pay - work 32 hours and be paid for 40 hours!

Essential Functions of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspects of nursing
• The candidate will provide services that exceed company and regulatory standards
• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans
• Assesses and documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders
• Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident’s needs and the person’s capabilities and qualifications
• Administers medications
• Starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents
• Documents that treatment as required
• Ensures that supplies are utilized economically, and that equipment is clean and maintained a safe manner
• Other duties as assigned
