Spring Valley Health and Rehabilitation in Missouri is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our compassionate care team. You will provide nursing services, administer medications, and assist residents with daily living activities in a resident-centered environment.

We offer a starting rate of $32.00 per hour, a $10,000 sign-on bonus for full-time qualifying candidates, PTO, premium holiday pay, tuition reimbursement up to $5,000 per year, and a company-sponsored 401(k).

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited LPN School of Nursing
• One year of nursing experience is preferred
• Valid CPR certification

Essential Functions of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspect of nursing
• The candidate will provide services that exceed company and regulatory standards
• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans
• Assesses and documents the resident's condition and nursing needs
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians' orders
• Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident's needs and the person's capabilities and qualifications
• Administers medications
• Starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents
• Documents that treatment as required
• Ensures that supplies are utilized economically, and that equipment is clean and maintained a safe manner
• Others duties as assigned

Qualifications of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• Graduate of accredited LPN School of Nursing
• One year of nursing experience is preferred
• Valid LPN license
• Valid CPR certification
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff
